This is the introductory post for our family's Salt Lake City existence. While we may dream about a return to the way things were in the past, e.g. the restoration of Lake Bonneville, we try to maintain an approach that appreciates the positive changes and attempts to direct changes in a manner that will best protect natural & cultural resources. So by way of initial disclaimer, while we may include some geologic & environmental ruminations from time to time, this (our first blog) is mainly meant to provide a means to communicate to our friends & family.
